This Privacy Policy is issued in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR) and the Bulgarian Personal Data Protection Act (Закон за защита на личните данни - ЗЗЛД), as well as the instructions and guidelines of the Commission for Personal Data Protection (Комисия за защита на личните данни - КЗЛД).

We may collect and process the following categories of personal data: (a) Identity data: name, surname; (b) Contact data: email address, phone number; (c) Event participation data: event registration details, presentation uploads, Q&A contributions; (d) Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, pages visited, duration of visit; (e) Communication data: information contained in messages sent to us through the contact form or email.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

In accordance with Article 6 of the GDPR, we process personal data on the following legal bases: (a) Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR) - when you voluntarily submit your data through contact forms or event registration; (b) Performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) - when processing is necessary to fulfill our contractual obligations for event organization services; (c) Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) - for website analytics, security, and improving our services, provided such interests are not overridden by your fundamental rights; (d) Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR) - when processing is necessary to comply with Bulgarian law, including tax and accounting obligations under the Bulgarian Accountancy Act (Закон за счетоводството).

5. Purposes of Processing

We process personal data for the following purposes: (a) Responding to inquiries submitted through the contact form; (b) Providing event organization services, including registration, check-in, and presentation management; (c) Communicating with clients and event participants; (d) Improving our Website and services through analytics; (e) Ensuring the security and proper functioning of the Website; (f) Complying with legal and regulatory obligations under Bulgarian law.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected: (a) Contact form inquiries: up to 12 months after the last communication; (b) Event-related data: up to 3 years after the event, as required for contractual and accounting purposes under Bulgarian law; (c) Technical logs: up to 6 months; (d) Contractual data: up to 5 years after termination of the contract, in accordance with the Bulgarian statute of limitations (Закон за задълженията и договорите). After the retention period expires, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

7. Data Sharing and Transfers

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with: (a) Service providers who assist in operating our Website and services (hosting, analytics), bound by data processing agreements in accordance with Article 28 GDPR; (b) Event organizers and co-organizers, to the extent necessary for event delivery; (c) Public authorities, when required by Bulgarian law or valid legal process. We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA). If such a transfer becomes necessary, we will ensure appropriate safeguards in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR.
